Join the fun at Australia House!

Australia’s “democracy sausage sizzle” tradition will take place in London for the first time on Saturday 11 May as part of pre-polling ahead of the Australian Federal Election (18 May).
Australian charity the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), Friends in the UK, will run the charitable BBQ at the Australian High Commission (Australia House) to raise funds for the RFDS.Thousands of Australians are expected to visit Australia House on Saturday to cast their ballot on what is typically the busiest day of pre-polling in London.Australia House in London is one of Australia’s largest polling station, with around 15,000 Australians expected to attend in person to vote across the pre-polling period (7th May to 17th May).
Voting takes place in the Exhibition Hall at Australia House, best known as the set for Gringotts Wizarding Bank in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
Meat sausages will be available from 10am
Meat sausages with the traditional bread, onions and tomato sauce will be available from 10am until stocks run out.
