David Crook will run the 2016 London Marathon to raise funds for the Flying Doctor
Australia’s Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner in London, David Crook will run the London Marathon on 24 April 2016 to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia.
David ran in support of the RFDS in last year’s race and is keen to repeat the performance again this year.
David said he was very grateful for the sponsorship he received in last year’s marathon, and welcomed as many sponsors as possible – big or small – to support the RFDS again this year. ‘The Royal Flying Doctor Service provides a vital service for people visiting, living and working in outback Australia. The Royal Flying Doctor Service – Friends in the UK does fantastic work supporting this service, and I’m proud to be able to help by again running for the RFDS in this year’s London Marathon.’
Sponsors can feel confident the funds they give to the Flying Doctor will be targeted to help rural and remote people in the most effective and efficient way. The Royal Flying Doctor Service has been ranked Australia’s most reputable charity for the fourth consecutive year.
