Royal Flying Doctor Service – Friends in the UK

On September 2nd, 2021 the Royal Flying Doctor Service – Friends in the UK
held a reception at Stoke Lodge, kindly hosted by our Vice Patron,
His Excellency the Hon. George Brandis QC.

Guests were treated to the excellent premium wines of our sponsors, Moss Wood, and/or ale from
Coopers Brewery, along with tasty bites of Australia beef, lamb and fish provided by the High Commission.

During the evening several clinicians who have recently worked with the service in Australia
recounted their experiences; amusing and heart wrenching stories of the vital work of RFDS in the
remote communities of Australia.

A prize for a lucky ticket holder was drawn during the evening.
