The RFDS – Friends in the UK want to thank everyone for their support for the 90th Anniversary Gala Dinner.
We thank our Patron HRH the Prince of Wales for his warm and heartfelt message and we hope you and your friends enjoyed the fantastic entertainment provided by our own Adam Hills and Kathy Lette. The redoubtable Lord Archer raised a terrific amount from the auction lots and ventilator pledges and we thank him for his efforts.
Our friends Lord Glendonbrook and NEX both gave us most generous donations and we were so pleased to have the wonderful sponsorship of Etihad, Felix & Friends and Moss Wood Wines. The Live auction donations from Spicers Retreat, 67 Pall Mall, Scott Hallsworth, Granger &Co, Emirates One and Only and Anna Mason raised a superb amount and we thank all those who gave so willingly and who bid so enthusiastically.
With your help we raised the wonderful sum of £175,000 on the evening for the vital care provided by the RFDS Australia to the people of the inland.
