Summer Drinks Party

RFDS UK Friends were delighted to host a small drinks reception for a new generation of Australians who have moved to the UK and other new supporters based in the UK who wish to establish a connection with the RFDS.

A fantastic and glamourous drink reception was held on 1 July 2019 at Freak Scene in Soho, owned by a valued supporter of the RFDS UK Friends, chef Scott Hallsworth. Guests were able to enjoy fantastic food prepared by Scott and his partner Phar, enjoy some great Aussie wines and a Freemantle Doctor cocktail (a speciality of Freak Scene).

More than 50 new RFDS supporters based in the UK attended to hear more about the RFDS. The evening was not only a great chance to meet fellow Aussies and RFDS supporters but also raised much appreciated funds for the RFDS UK Friends.
